Alteams is Nokia’s Most Sustainable Partner in 2025
We’re proud to receive the Nokia Sustainability Award 2025, recognizing our bold steps toward a greener future.
Alteams Suzhou is the first supplier to produce Nokia HPDC cast products using 100% recycled aluminium, achieving this milestone well ahead of Nokia’s 2030 target.
From carbon footprint estimates at the RFQ stage to rooftop solar, green electricity, and extensive energy-saving measures, we embed sustainability in every step of our operations — leading the way toward a cleaner, more responsible future.
EcoVadis recognition demonstrates the results of our sustainability work
EcoVadis is a leading corporate sustainability intelligence platform on which Alteams has been reporting since 2018.
In 2025, our score jumped from 67 to 76, placing us in the top 7% of our industry (93rd percentile). Our Joint venture Ashley Alteams India Ltd. also improved its result and achieved Bronze Level status in 2024, placing it in the top 35%.
This improvement reflects significant progress in social responsibility, alongside continuous work in other sustainability areas.

Global Compact supports sustainable development goals
Alteams joined the UN Global Compact in April 2024. The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiative and is based on ten principles to promote human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
